ADP (Automatic Data Processing, Inc.) is the payroll vendor that was selected by PS&E to provide cost effective, streamlined electronic processing for Human Resources and Payroll.
ADP’s payroll program consists of 2 components:
Employee Self Service - Allows employees to enter or update addresses, phone numbers, dependent information, set up or update direct deposits, enter emergency contacts, change tax withholdings and view pay statements and annual W-2 forms.
E-Time – Used to collect time, request time off, view scheduling and process payroll.
When will these services become available across the company?
Services are available now.
What will change with the new ADP system?
The new service will provide secure Internet access to a variety of tools that will enable you to take control of your personal and financial matters.
You can login and make changes from home or anywhere in the world you have access to the Internet.
Who needs to register for Employee Self Service (ADP Portal)?
All Palace Sports and Entertainment employees both full and part time.
How do I register for ADP Employee Self Service (ADP Portal)?
Open the ADP website on your Internet Explorer. The ADP Website is https://portal.adp.com
Click “First Time Users Register Here” on the Self Service Login page.

Enter your Self Service Registration Pass Code and click “Next”. Your Self Service Registration Pass Code is: palacenet-ess

Verify your identity using your Social Security Number. Enter your legal name as it appears on your Social Security Card, please no nicknames or abbreviations. Enter and confirm your Social Security Number and enter the month and day of your birth (MM/DD). Click “Next”

Next enter and confirm your E-mail Address and enter your home phone number. Click "Next".

Next complete your security information by entering in your City/Town of Birth, selecting two different security questions and supplying the answer to each question. Please note that your submissions on this page are case sensitive. This information will be used by ADP to verify your identity if you forget your password. Click “Next”.

Next you will be provided with your ADP User ID. Be sure to make note of this ID for future logins. Next, you should create your ADP Password. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters long and must contain at least 1 letter plus either 1 number or 1 special character. Re-enter your password in the Confirm Password field and click “Submit”. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR PASSWORD IS CASE SENSITIVE.

You will receive a Confirmation Page indicating that you are registered for Self-Service. Click “Close” on the Confirmation Page.

Can I access ESS from my home computer?
Yes. You can access ESS from any computer that has Internet access. The web address is https://portal.adp.com
No Internet access?
You can access Employee Self Service and eTime in the Employee Service Center at the employee kiosk, Monday thru Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
How will paycheck disbursements be affected?
For the month of October, paychecks and direct deposit advices will continue as usual. Beginning November 6th, 2009, direct deposit advices will no longer be mailed to your home or be available at work. They will be available through Employee Self Service via the Money tab. All live checks will continue to be distributed.
What changes will there with Direct Deposit?
For those who receive Direct Deposit Advices weekly, Beginning with the 12/11 paydate we will no longer print direct deposit Advices you can view your weekly statements online through Employee Self Service at the "MONEY" tab then clicking on "Pay Statements".
What is a Biometric Time Clock?
As of October 1st employees who use the time clocks will have a new web-based ADP time clock with a biometric (finger) reader.
Helps protect your privacy and secure accurate “punches in and out” by saving mathematical representations of your finger or thumb data - not fingerprints.
Will eTime and Employee Self Service be compatible with my Mac?

Who can I contact if I am having problems with eTime or Employee Self Service?
You can call our Employee Service Center at 248 - 377- 0123 for Employee Self Service.
You can call your department with any eTime related questions.
Can I view my schedule using eTime?
Yes, you can view your previous and current electronic time card showing what days and times you are scheduled.
You view this through the timecard. Your schedule will appear in the lower right corner.
Where can I request vacation time?
Eligible employee’s can request vacation time off through eTime.
Sign into eTime. Click “My Information”. From the dropdown menu, click “My Actions”.

Time off Balances as of today will state the number of hours of vacation time you have left this year.

From this dropdown menu, click “vacation”. Other requests listed, such as sick day or jury duty, will be approved by contacting your supervisor. They will then make the necessary adjustments to your timecard.

Click on the calendar icon to choose a start date for your vacation. After clicking the calendar icon, you will see the pop up. Select your start date. If you are requesting consecutive half days off, you must make a separate request for each day.

Type in a start time to begin your vacation. You must specify a.m. or p.m. Vacation time may only be taken as a half day or a whole day and must be taken in hour increments. To request a half day, use 4. To request an entire day, use 8.

How do I edit eTime in the event of a sick day?
When taking a sick day, connect with your supervisor and they will document and record this on eTime.
My personal information (address / name spelling / etc.) on the system is wrong. How do I correct it?
If your personal information is incorrect, contact the Employee Service Center at 248-377-0123, or escenter@palacenet.com.
I don’t have an e-mail address. Where can I create a free one?
In section 2, create a username and click “check” to see if that username is available for use. If it is already being used, Yahoo! will list some suggestions for alternate usernames. You may choose one of these, or try creating a new username, and repeating this step.

After you have chosen your username, create a password of your choice. You may check the security strength in the bars to the right. The more bars means your password is more secure. To create a secure password, try using a combination of capital letters and numbers. Once you have chosen a secure password, re-type the password for verification.

Scroll down and complete section 3, In case you forget your ID or password. Select two separate security questions and provide answers that only you would know.
In the section just below, type in the security code shown in the box.
Check the “Do you agree” box.
Click “Create My Account”
You will receive a confirmation page that you should print for your records. You may now go directly to your account by clicking “Continue”. You may also give a copy of your username and password to the employee service center to keep in your file for future reference.

Can I view and print payroll and annual statements?
You may view and print these statements using Employee Self Service through the Money tab.
Will I be required to update this information periodically?
Sign into Employee Self Service and navigate to the Myself tab, then Personal Information. Verify that the information you see is correct. If you have any discrepancies, contact the Employee Service Center. Add your Emergency Contacts and phone number. Upon completion, you will qualify for Race to Register and will be added into the weekly and monthly drawings.
What is Race to Register?
Race to Register is an employee campaign to encourage employees to register for and utilize Employee Self Service.
Race to Register starts NOW! Throughout the months of October and November, all qualified employees will have the opportunity to win weekly and monthly prizes!
In order to qualify, you must verify your personal information and update your emergency contacts and phone numbers. After this process is complete, you will be added to the drawing pool!
